Who We Are
A community rooted in faith, growing in love, and sent to serve.
Our Mission
Everything we do flows from this calling. Our worship, our teaching, our community, and our outreach are all expressions of a people who are learning to love well — upward, outward, and together.
Our Vision
We believe every person was created for encounter and assignment. Our vision is to cultivate a community where people are formed in the character of Christ and released into the calling He has placed on their lives.
Our Story
True Light Worship Center was born out of a simple conviction: that the local church, when it is truly alive, is the most transformative force in any community. Founded by a small group of believers who gathered in a living room with nothing but a Bible, a few folding chairs, and a deep hunger for God, True Light has grown into a multigenerational congregation rooted in the heart of Atlanta.
From the beginning, we have been committed to three things: the uncompromising truth of Scripture, the tangible presence of the Holy Spirit, and the irreplaceable value of authentic community. We are not a perfect church — we are a people in process, being shaped by grace and growing together in love.
Today, True Light is home to families, students, young professionals, and seasoned saints who share one common thread: a desire to know God and make Him known. We are grateful for every person who has walked through our doors, and we believe the best chapters of our story are still ahead.
What Drives Us
These are not just words on a wall — they are the rhythms and convictions that shape how we live together as a community.
We believe worship is not a warm-up — it is the main event. We pursue encounters with God that move beyond the surface and into the depths of His presence.
We take the Word of God seriously. We are committed to teaching that is biblically faithful, intellectually honest, and practically transformative.
Prayer is not a last resort — it is our first response. We cultivate a culture of dependence on God through personal and corporate prayer.
Faith without works is incomplete. We are a people who move when God speaks, trusting that obedience is the pathway to breakthrough and blessing.
We are sent, not just gathered. We actively pursue our neighbors, our city, and the nations with the love and message of Jesus Christ.
Our Doctrine
We hold to the historic Christian faith as revealed in the Scriptures. Here are the core convictions that anchor everything we do.
We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God — the supreme standard for all matters of faith and practice.
We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — co-equal, co-eternal, and worthy of all worship.
We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. Jesus died for our sins, rose from the dead, and offers eternal life to all who believe.
We believe the local church is God’s primary vehicle for making disciples, building community, and advancing His kingdom in the world.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead, the return of Jesus Christ, and the eternal joy of those who are in Him — and the eternal separation of those who reject Him.
